Columbus Explorers 18U (Team #8)

Michael Vinson - RHP / 6-5-185 / 2012 / Columbus HS
FB 86-88, touched 91. Long loose arm. Slow, controlled delivery. Tall, lanky frame. Makings of above average breaking ball 76-77.

FTB Pride (Team #21)

Frank Grandinette - RHP / R-R / 6-1-170 / 2012 / Boone HS / Orlando, FL
FB 83-86, touched 87 with arm side run and sink. SL 76 had depth to 2 plane break. Arm worked better later in outing when landing and front side of delivery more consistent. Bat breaking FB and tight SL impressive combination.

Rob Whalen - RHP / R-R / 6-1-185 / 2012 / Ridge Community HS / Davenport, FL
FB up to 92. Came in with runners on, pitched 88-89 and touched 91 from stretch. From windup pitched 90-92. Lightning quick arm, worked well back and thru. Quick tempo, athletic delivery. Downer CB 75 best secondary pitch. SL 76 and CH 76 thrown out of lower slot and with less than FB arm speed. Pitched night prior as well, reports of 88-92 in that outing as well.

Orlando Baseball Academy (Team #26)

Tanner Stanley - LHP / L-L / 5-11-170 / 2012 / Lake Highland Prep / Maitland, FL
Pitchability LHP with solid 3 pitch mix. Strike thrower with FB 77-79, CB and CH. Commanded FB, started bats, used secondary stuff to keep hitters off balance. Balanced, repeatable delivery. Great feel for pitching.

Palm Beach Select 17U (Team #17)

Josh Thorne - RHP / R-R / 6-1-175 / 2012 / Martin County HS / Stuart, FL
FB 86-88, up a tick from Memorial Day tournament. This after 20 pitch outing night prior. Arm works clean, balanced delivery.

South Florida Canes (Team #24)

Anthony Delaney - RHP / R-R / 5-8-180 / 2013 / Summitt Christian HS / Lake Worth, FL
Attacked zone with FB up to 85. Challenged hitters, bulldog type approach on mound. Big, overhead delivery. Arm had life out front. CB 66 had 10-4 action.

FB 88-91. OT slot, FB had down plane. Saw only portion of outing, did not see secondary pitches.

Tampa Panthers 18U (Team #29)

Nick Ramos - SS / R-R / 6-1-150 / 2012 / Plant HS / Tampa, FL
Slender lean frame. Excellent pre pitch rhythm to launch, hands move to ball easy and fluid. Short line drive stroke with surprising power to oppo gap.

Palm Beach Rockets (Team #7)

Bennett Sousa - LHP / L-L / 6-3-165 / 2014 / Benjamin School
FB 84-88 with some arm side run, touched 90. CB 76-77 with depth. CH 77-80 straight. H3/4, drop and drive type delivery. Good frame to hold added strength.

D.J. Paone - OF / R-R / 6-2-190 / 2013 / Benjamin School
Strong frame. Hits from open stance, stayed closed against LHP and drove to oppo field. Quick hands to zone.

Columbus Explorers 18U (Team #8)

Yency Almonte - RHP / 6-3-175 / 2012 / Columbus HS  
FB 88-92. Arm worked free and easy, ball jumped from hand. Created good tilt when stayed on time with delivery. Breaking ball 75-77 with tight 11-5 action.

Rey Ordonez, Jr. - SS / R-R / 6-2-180 / 2012 / American HS / Miami Lakes, FL
High waist, lean athletic build. Fluid defensive actions, soft hands and quick exchange along with easy arm strength. Hitter actions at plate with pre pitch rhythm.

South Florida Elite 17U Black (Team #13)

Esteban Puerta - OF / R-R / 6-0-175 / 2012 / University School / Cooper City, FL
Lean, athletic build. Short, compact RH stroke with easy bat speed and great extension. Hand-eye coordination evident in consistent solid contact over last two days.

Eric Neitzel - 3B / R-R / 6-3-200 / 2012 / Gulliver HS / Coral Gables, FL
Long limbs, large frame with room to fill out. Feet and hands work well defensively, haven't seen him cut it loose but so far has shown enough arm for 3B. Balanced RH approach with loose swing. Power potential evident.

CV Baseball Academy 16U (Team #34)

Grayson Dyer - SS / R-R / 6-3-160 / 2013 / Northside (GA) HS
Tall, lean projectable body. Athletic easy actions defensively. Simple short swing with good hand-eye coordination.

Chris Cobb - RHP / R-R / 6-0-155 / 2013 / Northside (GA) HS
FB 83-85. CB 69 with tight 11-5 action. CH 72 thrown with FB arm action. Balanced delivery, good direction. H3/4 angle, short arm stroke.

FTB Pride 18U (Team #21)

Tim Holmes - RHP / R-R / 6-1-190 / 2012 / Wolfson HS / Jacksonville, FL
FB 84-86 with occ arm side life. CB had depth to 11-5 action, CH 70 thrown with FB arm speed. Arm speed and extension out front along with tight CB spin allow for projection of future velocity jump.

Tomas Nido - C / R-R / 6-0-195 / 2012 / Orangewood Christian HS / Oviedo, FL
Loose, quick RH swing. Solid receiving skills behind plate, quick release and arm strength make for advanced catch and throw skills.

Excellent range, good footspeed, enough arm, soft hands. Worked counts at plate, on base type, battler in at bats. Baseball player type.

Palm Beach Baesball 18U (Team #2)

Parker Danciu - LHP / L-L / 6-4-210 / 2012 / West Boca HS / Delray Beach, FL
Solid strong frame, H3/4 angle, hides ball, compact delivery, short stride, FB 83-86 touched 87. CB 65-67 with depth. Solid CH 69-70. Good feel for pitching.

Daniel Hernandez - SS / R-R / 5-6-140 / 2015 / Palm Beach Central HS / Wellington, FL
Strong arm, smooth actions, strong DP turns. Showed bat speed. Overall, very advanced young player.

Large, solid build. Strong LH swing, aggressive with lift and full finish. Raw power evident. Listed as switch hitter, only saw LH. Solid receiver, evidence of arm strength.

Miami Firebirds (Team #5)

Manny Pasos - C / R-R / 5-10-175 / 2013 / Pace / Miami, FL
Quick twitch actions behind plate, arm strength and catch and throw skills. Good feel for position and game. Solid RH approach when stride closed from open stance, good hands and loose swing.

Palm Beach Select 15U (Team #31)

Kyle Vesnesky - SS / R-R / 5-10-160 / 2013 / Jupiter (FL) HS
Slender build. Smooth defensive actions, soft hands, solid arm. Took command of infield. 4.28 home to 1B from right side of plate.

FTB Louisville Slugger 18U (Team #16)

Chris Elander - RHP / R-R / 5-10-170 / 2012 / Hagerty HS / Oviedo, FL
FB 84-86, touched 88. H3/4 release with quick arm. CB 71-73 with big 11-5 break, threw for strikes. Slender build, good athlete.
