We would like to thank all players for their participation in the 2009 Team One Futures Game.

The top players are chosen based upon their workout, game performance, and overall projectability.

Elvin Soto 1.    Elvin Soto | C | 5’11/180 | S/R | Xaverian HS (NY) | 2011
Elvin is a well built switch hitting catcher standing at 5’11/180. Behind the plate he showed great sway, flexibility, and stayed through the baseball. He was direct with his throws down to second base with pop times ranging from 1.91-1.97. At the plate, he showed a very balanced swing from both sides of the plate. He throws his hips and showed good power to all fields. During the game he hit two doubles, one from the left side, and one from the right side. He will be sure to be on many top college programs follow list in 2010.
   
Manny Argomaniz 2.    Manny Argomaniz | SS/RHP | 6’1/175 | R/R | Claremont HS (CA) | 2011
Manny is your prototypical shortstop frame standing at 6’1/175. In the infield he showed good accurate and strong throws. He has a quick release, smooth approach, and plays through the baseball. At the plate he showed us his quick hands, which allows him to attack the baseball to all fields. On the mound, Manny impressed us again with his quick arm and repeatable delivery. He shows a very loose and easy arm action with his fastball velocity ranging from 86-88mph. Manny is a great athlete and has a legitimate chance to be an impact two-way player at the next level.
   
Ryan Muno 3.    Ryan Muno | 3B/OF | 6’1/190 | R/R | Mission Viejo HS (CA) | 2011
Ryan is a well built third baseman standing at 6’1/190. From third base he showed strong accurate throws with a good arm slot. He stays square to the baseball and has a quick transfer to second base. At the plate, Ryan showed tremendous opposite field power. He uses all fields and has gap to gap power that will be sure to attract many college coaches to Mission Viejo HS this spring.
   
Blake Swihart 4.    Blake Swihart | C/3B | 6/190 | S/R | Cleveland HS (NM) | 2011
Blake is a switch hitting catcher standing at 6/190. Behind the plate he showed good flexibility and a low target. He gains ground well, and has a direct glove to hand release. His pop times ranged from 1.94-1.97. At the plate he attacks the baseball from both sides of the plate. He has a very balanced hitting approach and uses all fields well. He will attract many college coaches in his spring season at Cleveland High School.
   
Austin Davidson 5.    Austin Davidson | SS/RHP | 5’11/180 | L/R | Oxnard HS (CA) | 2011
Austin is a well put together middle infielder, right handed pitcher. Defensively his throws are easy and has a smooth glove to hand transfer. At the dish, he showed plus bat speed and attacks the baseball. Showed good extension and uses all fields. On the mound, he showed a loose quick arm with his fastball velocity ranging from 86-89mph. He has an explosive lower half and makes it look easy. His breaking ball was actually his best pitch with velocity of 74-76mph. Kept the hitters off balance and struck out all five hitters he faced. Austin is a tremendous athlete who has a chance to be an impact player both in the infield and on the mound.
   
Chris Santoro 6.    Chris Santoro | OF/RHP | 5’10/160 | R/R | Mater Dei HS (CA) | 2011
Chris is another two-way player in the outfield and on the mound. In the outfield, he showed good arm speed and very good extension on his throws. Has a good downward plane and accurate arm with good life and carry on his throws. He charges the baseball well and has good crow hop action. At the plate, he uses all fields and stays inside the baseball well. On the mound, Chris showed a very loose and athletic arm with his fastball ranging from 86-89mph. His curveball proved to be his best pitch with his deception and arm slot. He has good rhythm and is very directionally sound. He has a great feel for the game and will be a top recruit at Mater Dei this spring.
   
Westyn Baylor 7.    Westyn Baylor | RHP | 6’2/180 | R/R | Bangor HS (PA) | 2011
Westyn is a tall and lanky right hander standing at 6’2/180. He has a very easy repeatable delivery. He has great rhythm and tempo on the mound. He showed a loose and quick arm with his fastball touching 91mph. He is very directionally sound and keeps hitters off balance. He struck out three out of five hitters with his devastating curveball that kept the hitters guessing. Westyn will sure to be a top recruit for many college programs across the country.
   
Josh Bell 8.    Josh Bell | OF/1B | 6’3/190 | S/R | Dallas Jesuit HS (TX) | 2011
Josh is a well built athlete standing at 6’3/190. In the outfield he showed a very strong arm and great front side action. He uses a springy crow hop to help propel his throws to the target. At the plate, he showed a very powerful swing and quick bat from both sides. He has gap to gap power and uses all fields. Josh will be a definite draft pick in the 2010 amateur draft.

Dante Flores 9.    Dante Flores | 2B/SS | 5’9/155 | L/R | St. John Bosco HS (CA) | 2011
Dante carries a prototypical middle infielder frame standing at 5’9/155. His throws from second are easy and he showed great instincts. He has light feet and smooth backhand. He makes it look very easy and effortless. At the plate, he showed good separation and quick hands. Has good hip action and gets the barrel to the baseball consistently. Has great power from the left side which will sure be helpful for USD and Coach Hill in 2010.

Kyle Hunt 10.    Kyle Hunt | SS | 5’11/160 | S/R | Capistrano Valley HS (CA) | 2011
Kyle is a very smooth middle infielder carrying a 5’11/160 frame. In the infield he showed a very sound approach. Has great rhythm and good pre-pitch. He is very light on his feet and has a soft backhand. At the plate, he loads up well and stays inside the baseball. Showed good opposite field power from both sides of the plate and has a very balanced approach. Kyle will be a great recruit for any college program.
