Players listed below are in alphabetical order.

Jarett Cook | OF | 5'10/175 | R/R | Paul W. Bryant (AL) | 2008

Cook is a flat out athlete. We had him at a 6.60 60 and 3.90 H1st from the right side! He also showed above avg. arm strength with good instincts and quickness in the OF. Jarett reeled off numerous hits in his two games including a couple extra base hits. With a defensive back (in football) type body, excellent athleticism and a solid approach at the plate, Cook is a legitimate prospect.

Shaun Cooper | SS/OF | 5'11/180 | R/R | Catalina Magnet (AZ) | 2008

Cooper’s strength lies at the plate. He is a plus hitter with plus power. He had several quality at bats hitting one moon shot fair and at least one other foul. An athletic player probably best suited for 3B or LF, Cooper was arguably the best hitter at T1 West. Showed plus bat speed and barrel accuracy with a balanced approach. Shaun was solid defensively, but really stood out at the plate. He has a strong, athletic body type.

Matthew Davidson | RHP/3B | 6'3/205 | R/R | Yucaipa (CA) | 2009
Matthew may have the most upside of any player at T1 West. He is an athletic player with long, strong limbs and good leverage. He showed excellent arm strength and defensive ability from the left side, and a polished approach from the plate. From the mound, we have seen him as high as 90-91 mph, but at T1 W he was sitting at 86-87 mph with an easy, live arm. Davidson is fun to watch right now and will only get better and better and better.

Matt Flemer | RHP | 6'2/210 | R/R | St. Mary's (CA) | 2008
Flemer is a very good RHP. He sat from 88-91 mph with some downhill capability. He flashed a plus CB and CH when he finished with good direction. His delivery was a little different, but his arm works easy with good quickness and excellent life out of the hand. He attacked the strike zone consistently and once his off speed is 100% consistent, he will be extremely difficult to hit. Flemer is a strong bodied RHP that can work to tighten up slightly.

Ryan Hawthorne | OF/LHP | 6'1/190 | L/L | Crespi (CA) | 2008
Hawthorne just flat out shoved it. He came out with excellent mound presence and confidence, worked fast, and did nothing but get outs. He was 86-87, topping at 89 mph with some sink. He showed a 1/7 CB with good depth and tight spin. His most impressive attribute was his ability to throw knee to knee and challenge (with success) every hitter.  Ryan has a good LHP body with a strong lower ½. He also worked from the OF, but profiles best right now from the mound.

Jarret Martin | LHP | 6'3/200 | L/L | Centennial (CA) | 2008
If you want to see a big league LHP body, look at Martin. He is athletic, long, and strong with a loose arm action. He topped at 93 mph, but was sitting with his FB at about 88-89. Jarret is a little raw right now, but with some slight adjustments in delivery should become a force at the next level. His electric arm is undeniable.<p>

Tyler Pill | SS/RHP | 6/165 | L/R | Covina (CA) | 2008
Pill is an athletic two way player that was a pleasure to watch. He sat 87-88 from the mound with an easy arm and sound delivery. His best pitch however, was a 12/6 to 11/5 absolute hammer. He was also solid at SS with plus arm strength and soft hands. He also showed good bat speed and an overall solid approach from the left side at the plate. He hit several balls hard throughout the event.  Tyler will have success wherever he ends up.

Tyler Rahmatulla | SS/RHP | 5'10/170 | R/R | Mater Dei (CA) | 2008
Tyler is a legitimate two way guy that has an athletic MIF body. He showed soft hands from SS with a cannon. He has good quickness and an excellent, smooth approach to the baseball. He showed good bat speed and approach at the plate as well. From the mound he showed good life and sat 86-87 with a tight, nasty slider. He could end up as a MIF for 8 innings and go to the mound to close out games at the collegiate level.

Tommy Richards | 2B/SS | 5'10/170 | R/R | Bend (OR) | 2008

Richards is a scrappy middle INF that is just fun to watch. He plays the game with true passion and energy. Tommy is the type of player that every good club needs. Oh yeah, by the way, he can play as well. He shows excellent hands and footwork in the INF with an above avg. arm and quick release. At the plate, he had several hits with a balanced, confident approach. He also showed quick hands and good barrel accuracy. He has an athletic, prototypical MIF body (especially 2B) with easy actions. He will excel wherever he ends up.

Kyle Winkler | RHP | 5'10/175 | R/R | Kempner (TX) | 2008

Winkler was the best pitcher at T1 West. He absolutely dealt. He is sort of built like John Wetteland with a strong lower ½. He sat at 86-89 with two other plus pitches. Most importantly, he showed the ability to throw within the strike zone. It seemed as though every pitch was a strike at one of the knees. Winkler was impressive to watch and it will be interesting to follow this young man in the next couple of years.
