Top Ten

1. Brandon Brennan | 2010 | RHP/OF | 6’4/205 | R/R | Capistrano Valley HS (CA)
Brandon is a tremendous athlete both on the mound and in the outfield. He carries a large 6’4/ 205 pound frame. On the hill, he showed a fastball ranging from 89-92mph with hard late run. Has solid command of his change up at 75-78mph. At the plate displayed Major League power to all fields with two home runs during the showcase games, one which cleared the batters eye. On a side note, Brandon has been selected to join the top 36 players in the country at Wrigley Field on August 8 at the Under Armour All America Game.

2. Henry Owens | 2011 | LHP | 6’5/180 | L/L | Edison HS (CA)
Henry has a tall lanky 6’5/ 180 frame with a size 16 shoe. On the hill his fastball was 86-88 with good downhill run. He combines easy rhythm with a deceptive delivery. His breaking ball was 65-68mph with good sweep. Henry is a solid draftable player and division one prospect on the mound.

3. Brando Tessar | 2010 | OF/RHP | 6’1/185 | R/R | Chaminade HS (CA)
Brando is a legitimate two-way prospect on the mound and in the outfield. On the hill, his fastball ranged from 87-89mph with hard late run. He showed good rhythm with a sharp power curve ball at 76-81mph. At the plate, Brando showed good power to all fields. With continued development of his off speed pitches, he will sure be a draft pick in 2010.

4. Scott Frazier | 2010 | OF/RHP | 6’5/200 | R/R | Upland HS (CA)
Scott really turned a lot of heads with his long athletic projectable body. His levers are loose and whippy in all of his baseball movements. He showed the ability to drive the ball deep to all fields. He has great leverage and extension through contact that allows for extra carry. With further muscle development, Scott will continue to increase his opportunities at the collegiate and professional levels.

5. Jordan Heald-Mullins | 2010 | OF/SS | 6’2/170 | R/R | Heritage HS (CA)
Jordan really turned some heads with his great athleticism. He is smooth and explosive with his baseball movements. Offensively, he is direct with his bat path, and flashes above average bat speed. He displayed some barrel accuracy and ran the bases well. Defensively, he performed well, flashing the ability to play shortstop or the outfield. He has a loose body and low approach at both positions, but he really stands out as a gold glove outfielder. Jordan has tremendous upside and his stock will climb as he continues to develop with more consistency at the plate. He is a very exciting player to watch.

6. Derrick Hadley | 2010 | RHP/3B | 6/175 | R/R | Navasota HS (TX)
Derrick is a well built player with a 6/ 165 frame. On the mound he showed a fastball that ranged from 88-90mph and a power curve ball that dominated hitters. His loose ¾ arm action creates good deception for his change up. He showed great ability to pitch to contact and keep the ball on the ground. Derrick will be on many top college programs recruiting list as the summer progresses.

7. Cody Sos | 2010 | C/1B | 6/190 | R/R | Grossmont HS (CA)
Cody is a well rounded catcher that showed well offensively and defensively. As a catcher, he showed easy throwing actions, displaying good feet and a quick release. His throws were accurate, as he sat between 1.97-2.09sec on his pop-pop times. At the plate, Cody showed very good balance and is very explosive out of his launch position. He fires his hips and hands giving him home run power. Overall, Cody’s actions are clean and effortless. His plus sized body make him a very projectable player.

8. Brandon Drury | 2010 | SS | 6’1/185 | R/R | Grants Pass HS (OR)
Brandon showed above average arm strength in the middle of the infield with polished mechanics. He is a physically mature player with a projectable frame. He is a very polished hitter with a great bat path and good balance. He showed power to all fields. He has explosive athleticism at the plate and above average bat speed.

9. Oscar Sanay | 2010 | SS | 5’7/180 | R/R | Bonita Vista HS (CA)
Oscar continues to show his polish both offensively and defensively. His 60 yard time was a dashing 6.8 seconds. Defensively Oscar gets tremendous reads off the bat, giving him great lateral range. He displays soft hands continuously, and has great instincts on playing his hops. His release and transfer are lightning quick, due to high playability of his hands and feet. At the plate, Oscar showed consistent ability in centering the baseball. His inside out stroke is quick and level through the hitting zone. He has a great approach that allows him to spray line drives to all fields. Oscar is continuing to draw attention from top college programs. He is a “can’t miss player” at the next level.

10. Travis Radke | 2011 | LHP | 6’2/170 | L/L | Oaks Christian HS (CA)
Travis has a 6’2/ 170 pitcher frame with room to fill out. Changed speeds with a fastball at 84-86mph and a change up with solid sink at 74-76mph. He set a good pace with above average control. Changes eye levels with a consistent base. He proved to be a classic lefty that will generate interest from top college programs.

Honorable Mentions

Ryan Comford | 2010 | 3B | 5’11/165 | R/R | Saguaro HS (AZ)
Ryan definitely showed why he is a top player in the area.  Defensively, Ryan showed a strong arm, with smooth easy throwing actions, as he uses good rhythm, footwork and soft hands in fielding the ball.  His back-hand showed to need a bit more work, but mostly in finding the comfort in his foot placement.  With the bat, Ryan showed great consistency in centering the baseball.  He shows a short stroke to the ball, and possesses good extension through contact.  Ryan displayed the ability to drive the ball to all fields, as he shows calmness and patience in his approach.  He should continue to be considered a top college prospect by scholarship schools.

Kyle Eaton | 2010 | C/RHP | 6’1/175 | R/R | Valencia HS (CA)
Kyle is a two-way player as a catcher and on the mound with a lean, athletic body that is well suited for both positions. He projects best well at both positions for the next level. Foot speed is solid average and he will benefit by getting on a speed / agility program to improve foot quickness for the next level. Hands and feet work well together through the catch and throwing process as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times show in the range of 1.93 – 2.12 with a means of 2.03. Arm strength is well above average as indicated by 88 mph on the mound. His throws display life, carry, and accuracy into his target. Receiving skills and blocking skills are well above average, showing as quality tools at the next level. At the plate Eaton continues to shine displaying well above average abilities with outstanding power through a sound approach. He shows a solid eye at the plate as he drew5 BB and was 4 for 9 with a 2B and 3B at the event. On the mound, fastballs show a range of 86-88 mph with cut and sink on a downhill plane that creates tough angles on hitters. Breaking ball is well above average displaying tilt downward with sharp breaking action. Changeup is above average showing a plus feel for with sink. He attacks hitters as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Kyle has the makings to be a special type player at the next level and will get looks from the pro scouts.

Josh Flyer | 2010 | 3B/RHP | 6’3/185 | R/R | Crossroads HS (CA)
Josh is a very good athlete, that showed well in multiple areas starting with a solid 7.09 second 60 yard dash.  Defensively, he displayed soft hands and a low, athletic approach that led into a very strong arm across the diamond.  At the plate, he displayed good bat speed that can possibly show as great bat speed, upon smoothening out his double load.  On the mound, he pitched in the mid 80’s consistently, and threw strikes with his FB and CB, but he still needs to learn to command the corners.  Josh did a solid job of pitching to contact by keeping the ball down in the zone.  At this point, Josh shows best as an infielder, but only because of his raw-ness on the mound, however, there is definitely some upside to him on the hill.

Bijan Rademacher | 2010 | OF/LHP | 6/175 | L/L | Canyon HS (CA)

Austin Walker | 2010 | SS/RHP | 6’2/185 | R/R | Crespi HS (CA)
